Stand Up!!

We can view life in any angle. Life is a matter of choice. We have ups and downs, sorrows and happiness, success and failures. Perceptions about life may vary as to what situation we are in right now. But life is only difficult when one viewed it be one. In each day that will pass, we grow. And as we grow we also learn. Life is a learning process.

In my life I have encountered a lot of frustrations, depressions and failures. There’s also a time that I think of giving up, whenever I feel that the weight of the world is on my shoulder and I can’t bear to carry it anymore. But still our God is always there helping and comforting us all throughout.

As of today I failed again, failed myself, my family especially my parents and also to the people that are expecting from me. Maybe my effort was not enough, they say failure is not an option but I never chose to fail but still I failed, this frustrates me the most. I’ve given my best but still it’s not enough what I lack is more motivation and perseverance, I should have pushed myself beyond my limitation, to achieve excellence. I may sound too ambitious but I’ve already set my mind to not just pass the exams but excel in it. It’s not just for my own sake but for the happiness of my parents, in return for the good things they have done and for the sacrifices that they have made. College isn’t like high school anymore, we need to focus on our studies, we need to be serious, although we can have some fun have a break once in a while but we shouldn’t forget our priorities and should not stray from the right path.

But failure is just part of what we are not who we are, this doesn’t mean that when you fail you became a loser. Failure doesn’t make you less of a person, but it allows you to become stronger and be more aware of your weaknesses.
